Silicone-Based Membranes as Potential Materials for Dielectric Electroactive Polymer Actuators

This article includes an overview of the materials and a thorough analysis methods that are used to produce dielectric electroactive actuator membranes. The paper also presents extensive results from our experimental studies on two types addition silicone (Silicone Mold Start 15 Dragon Skin 10M) manufacture actuators with different active membranes thicknesses (165 μm 300 μm, respectively). study explored in depth hardware architectures methodologies for manufacturing selected actuators. displacements were compared their responses voltage excitation: step response sinusoidal signal increasing frequency over time. graphically we obtained all devices, particular emphasis resonance frequencies.
